Work, family, friends, hiking, live music, school, play dates, cooking, reading, downtown events…
It can be hard to live in a place like WNC,
where everyone else seems to be just so in LOVE with their life
and doing stuff all of the time.
How do they manage to DO all of that?
Sometimes it just seems like a struggle to get through the day and it never seems like there is enough time.
The “To Do” list is ten miles long and you always feel you are falling short.
You feel stressed, anxious, and irritable.
This isn’t how you WANT to be-
you just can’t seem to get out of your head.
It sounds like you may have a lot of internal pressure about what you SHOULD be doing and feeling.
Who exactly is 'everyone else' anyway?
Therapy is a chance for you to examine some of internal scripts you have running around in your head that may be driving you to believe you actually NEED to be a certain way. That life won't work out until you accomplish certain things.
Therapy gets to be YOUR space- to figure out what really matters to you. To find some balance and support while you navigate all those pressures (inside and out).
On the other side, you may just find...
There is a confident sense of 'self' waiting to be discovered.
Of knowing what is right for you.
And that it may or may not be what is right for someone else.
(And feeling okay about that, too.)
There is more space, less overwhelm, and a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
What do you have to lose?
(Besides that nagging inner voice that tells you are a failure?)
Now is the time.
You deserve a break.
Let's help you find a way out of this mess.
